We designed and installed something a bit different for this secondary school in Jersey. They wanted an area that could be used for school and drama lessons, as well as being available to the wider public for small concerts and festivals.
The entire area around the dais was tidied up and a solid ground put down over the grass to make sure it stays useable to students even through the winter.
The canopy is designed like an Amphitheatre, covering half of the dais, while utilising the three small levels which will make it perfect for concerts and other productions. It provides ample rain cover and a shaded area in the Summer.
Ivor Pike, site manager, said:
"We are very pleased with our new canopy it has created a fantastic outdoor facility for our students for both curriculum and leisure activities.
This is our second canopy from inside2outside and once again they have produced an outstanding quality all weather structure.
It was quite amazing to watch the team of technicians fit the canopy together on site and lift it into place all in one day."
